Our First Solo Pop Up: The Recap

Last weekend was very exciting because we got to celebrate our birthday pop-up with you! First of all, a massive thank you to all of you who came to London to see us in person, try on our shoes, and who walked away fully kitted for the netball season ahead!

To be honest, we weren't really sure what to expect, this was our first time ever asking our customers to come to us rather than us coming to you, but we are so glad we did. We learnt a lot and took all of your feedback on board.

Setting up the space

Let's go back to the beginning of the weekend. Eloise, Vic and honorary Elandr staff member, Harry, headed to London to get the store all set up to welcome everyone, kitting the room out with displays of our InfinitMax shoes and InfinitBase Socks, along with fitting spaces so you could try on our shoes in comfort.

After an excellent team effort with all the banners and posters up, InfinitMax and InfinitBase on show, and the final touches made the space look like we housed a permanent shop there, with some even thinking we did. We knew this was the first time we'd asked you to come see us, and we wanted to make sure it was worth the trip!

The weekend itself

We opened the doors on Saturday morning and had an amazing time meeting you all and seeing you find the best fit and colourway. Then we did it all over again on Sunday, until it was time to pack up and head home. Over the course of the weekend we met so many of you, each with an incredible story of why you play, why you cannot wait to try your InfinitMax for the first time on the court, and those who have not heard of Elandr and walked in off the street to see what we were all about! It was incredible to share the Elandr love with so many of you.

What we learnt

We learnt that we have some absolutely incredible customers and ambassadors, several of whom travelled a long way to come and see us! We are continually being proved right in our belief that if you try our shoes on you understand exactly what we mean when we rave about their protection and support, and that came through from so many of you on the day!

We have listened to you and heard the demand loud and clear that you would like us to travel more and make it easier to come see us. While we may not have another pop-up lined up at the minute we are on the move over the next few months at lots of events and tournaments. So keep an eye on our socials and this blog because we will always keep you informed on where we will be. With that said, for those of you Midlands and Northern based, we will be at the England Men's and Mixed Netball Association Nationals next weekend held at Loughborough University, but more on that in the next blog - keep an eye out! 👀
