I want to play netball until I’m grey and old and my body won't physically let me, my 35-year-old body is already putting up a fight. Many of my teammates have had to quit altogether due to ankle injuries, and these issues don’t stop there—they often lead to knee, hip, and back problems that last a lifetime.

Having played netball for most of my life, I know too well how rolling an ankle is often seen as a rite of passage. I’ve relied on ankle braces to keep me on the court, but they’re cumbersome, uncomfortable, and expensive—and they don’t integrate well with your shoes.

Determined to find a better solution, I set out to create a netball shoe that provides real ankle protection—not just for those with existing injuries, but to prevent them in the first place. That’s why I started Elandr.
